Background (from his website) For nearly four (4) decades my wife and I have raised our children and now grandchildren here on the windward coast, in our home at Kaaawa. We are so fortunate, that our forefathers, ancestors, embraced our culture and passed it through so many different ethnic groups that came to these islands over hundreds of years, enhancing the “Aloha Spirit” and made this Aina, their Home. I am an American of Native Hawaiian decent. Throughout my years of work and raising my family it has defined my values and attributes.  I have been blessed by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob with what I have done, so far, and the people I have come to know.  I look forward to more of what I can accomplish and the people I have yet to serve. We are one people, One Nation, Under God!

"We need to reinstate the trust of our people in our Government by creating total transparency at every level of Government. Are you aware, at the time of Statehood 90% of eligible voters voted! Today, approximately 43% of eligible voters vote. I come from the belief that "to think is to create, to act is to achieve."
