Background (from her website) Representative Mele Carroll currently serves in her third term (2-year terms) as the State House Representative for the thirteenth district of the Hawai`i State House of Representative which includes East Maui, the islands of Lana`i, Moloka`i including Kalaupapa, Kaho`olawe and Molokini.
