Background: 1960 enlisted in the United States Navy as a Nurse Corps Candidate, Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Officer’s Candidate School and was commissioned an Ensign, 1962 -1966 stationed at Bethesda Naval Hospital, Mililani, Waipio, Melemanu Neighborhood Board #25 1986-1996, 2012+, chair 1992-96, current legislative chair, Hawaii State Commission on the Status of Women, Commissioner, Hawaii State Center for Missing Children, Director, Mililani Mauka/Launani Valley Neighborhood Board #35 2013-2014, Mayor’s Rep, Soroptimists of Central Oahu, President-elect, chair High School Community Action Scholarship Program, Mililani Lions, member, Friends of Mililani Public Library, Director, Central Oahu Caregivers Support Group, co-founder and President, Judge for Senior Project at Mililani High School (MHS), Mililani High School boys soccer, gold sponsor. Formerly participated: Corporate Board of the American Cancer Society, President of the Mililani Teen Support Organization, Chair of the Legislative Action Committee of the Mililani Town Anti-Drug Committee, Mililani Drug Free, Domestic Violence Oversight Committee.
